"1909" is a new collection of jewelry, inspired by antiques and handmade in NYC. We make each ring to order, which takes between 4-6 weeks. In our stores, we usually stock rings in a size 6, which ship immediately. If you're in a hurry and can't wait 4-6 weeks, email email@example.com. We may be able to re-size one of our sample rings for an additional fee and speed things up. 1909 rings are made to order in full, half, and quarter sizes. If the size you desire is not in the drop down menu, please make a note of it during checkout.
Since the middle ages people have used horseshoes as protective talismans and good-luck amulets. The motif became popular in jewelry in the late Victorian era, and it really hasn't fallen out of favor since. This ring is a modified version of a gem-studded charm from a gentleman's stickpin, something he used to hold his cravat in place. Our version features nine pave diamonds set in a 14k white gold horseshoe (white gold makes the diamonds look super-sparkly) and mounted on a delicate 14k yellow gold round band. Wear it and be blessed with good fortune.
