Horseshoe Ring $500.00

"1909" is a new collection of jewelry, inspired by antiques and handmade in NYC.  We make each ring to order, which takes between 4-6 weeks.  In our stores, we usually stock rings in a size 6, which ship immediately.  If you're in a hurry and can't wait 4-6 weeks, email  We may be able to re-size one of our sample rings for an additional fee and speed things up.

Since the middle ages people have used horseshoes as protective talismans and good-luck amulets.  The motif became popular in jewelry in the late Victorian era, and it really hasn't fallen out of favor since.  This ring is a modified version of a gem-studded charm from a gentleman's stickpin, something he used to hold his cravat in place. Our version features nine pave diamonds set in a 14k white gold horseshoe (white gold makes the diamonds look super-sparkly) and mounted on a delicate 14k yellow gold round band.  Wear it and be blessed with good fortune.
