These earrings feature a vintage brass scarab charm with a peculiar extended wing design.  To bring out the detail, we powder-coated the charm with glossy white pigment, and suspended each one from an itty-bitty gold-plated earwire.  In Egyptian mythology, the scarab was a powerful symbol with humble beginnings (supposedly emerging from a ball of dung) that embodied both life and death.  The earrings measure about 3/4" wide and tall.
