The strategically placed negative space in this 18k and platinum Edwardian diamond ring makes for some really fun optical illusions. Is it a nautical star, a Celtic cross, or a weird quatrefoil-looking shape whose name I don't know? Regardless, this ring is really cool, and with a circular bezel that's over 1/2" wide at its largest point, it's not for the timid. The central diamond is about 0.15 carats, and is ringed with eight smaller diamonds of varying sizes, each five points or less. Since it's not the most traditional-looking diamond ring, it could definitely work as an everyday piece, but as an engagement ring it would certainly turn heads—just like your beloved!
