These refurbished vintage stud earrings are very detailed, with suggestions of buttonholes and a raised cross-stitch "X" of faux thread. They were probably manufactured in the 1980's, so I can't be sure exactly what metal the posts are. My guess is gold-plated surgical steel, but people with known metal allergies would probably be wise to avoid these - there was a lot of nickel used in costume jewelry in the 80's. "Buttons" measure 3/8" in diameter. We've plated them in shiny silver and added new sterling-silver earring backs. Earrings come attached to cardstock printed with an "Erica Weiner Jewelry" logo.
