These earrings are perfect for casual everyday wear. They have almost no shine at all, since the copper has been allowed to naturally oxidize to a burnished, satiny black patina over the 30+ years they've been in storage. The color is also understated - a bit of rosy pink copper shows through, but they're really a gorgeous non-color that we couldn't have replicated with chemicals or treatments. Tiny blemishes, dark spots, and shiny marks should be considered part of your earrings' unique character. Detailed, ridged leaves measure exactly 1" long.

Since they're antique (probably manufatured in the 1960s - 70s) we can't be sure what type of metal the posts are, but our hunch is that they're stainless or surgical steel. New 14K gold-plated earring backs have been added. Each pair of earrings come attached to cardstock packaging bearing the "Erica Weiner Jewelry" logo.
