I found a huge box of gently used stainless steel pen nibs in an old barn in Maine and I instantly knew they'd make fantastic pendants. I cleaned them up, soldered on tiny brass rings, and strung each nib on an 18" brass chain with a two-tone brass-and-copper lobster claw clasp. Many of these nibs already have flattened points, but I filed down the ones that I felt were too sharp. Wear with care, because these points still have stabbing potential. Each one is unique and may be embossed or imprinted with the pen type, brand name, or year of manufacture (some from the mid-1800's). Some may have minor corrosion and/or traces of ink still visible.
