These 1/4" wide flexible mesh rings were manufactured in the 1960's and have been stored away in a New England warehouse ever since. When we found them, the belt mechanism actually worked - you could adjust the ring to be smaller or larger. But since there was no loop to keep the end secure, the rings would adjust themselves right off your finger. After some failed attempts to fabricate a loop, we simply soldered the belt mechanism closed, standardizing 3 ring sizes: 6, 7, and 8. The belt motif is uncompromised and we must admit, very cute. All parts are brass; remove this ring when showering or swimming to avoid discoloration.
