Late Victorian Pearl Swallow Necklace
Made near the turn of the 20th century, this 15k gold swallow is rendered in mid-flight with seed pearls adorning its wings and body. According to lore, swallows were a welcome sight to voyage-weary sailors who believed the little birds prevented ships from getting lost and led them into safe harbor.
