We found a cache of zipper pulls that were most likely destined for one of Yves St. Laurent's 1970's ready-to-wear creations. For some reason, these little plaques were never attached to garments. With caramel-colored enamel on brass that lets the YSL logo shine through, these rectangles measure 3/4" tall x 1/2" wide, and were obviously perfectly suited to be converted into earrings. It's no secret that Lindsay and I are pretty obsessed with the late French designer - last year we made a pilgrimage to his electric-blue mansion in Marrakesh where he lived with his lover throughout the later years of his life. Get these earrings while they last, or before YSL sends us a cease-and-desist letter, whichever comes first. Posts and backs are gold-filled.
