Earlier this year, we found what, to antique jewelry dealers, is the holy grail: a hoard of never-worn, never-sold diamond wedding bands from the 1940's. They had been sitting in a NYC jeweler's safe for the 60+ years with their original price tags still attached. One of our favorites was a band much like this one, marked to sell at $17.50. Inflation has made our version a little more expensive, but the best parts of the ring have been brought into the modern world.
