The spring and dog clip were moved around to make this a necklace (rather than just a fob chain) but could easily be swapped back. I prefer it this way - use it to wrangle your charm collection. Or I know a fellow antique dealer who uses a dog clip/chain setup like this to hold her foil-backed diamond ring while she washes her hands. 14k white and rose gold links, marked "National 14k 1920".
