1930s Mirrored Glass Collar

About Details
Sometimes my favorite antique jewelry is "costume jewelry", which was usually made from less-than-precious materials and designed so almost any woman could afford to wear it. This foiled glass Deco necklace is one that would have looked fabulously of-the-moment on a 1930's woman, with its shimmering circular panels. Backed in brass, and mass-produced, this is a typical late-Deco ornament; think of it as fast fashion of the Thirties.
