This diamond cut is amazing: see the subtle point at the top, where the stone is usually flat? That's called the "table", and here, the facets draw the light into the stone, creating a kind of floral kaleidoscope effect. This cut was just developed (only in 2016!) in NYC - the inventors are calling it the "Crown Jubilee". Each one is made by re-cutting Old Mine or Old European Cut diamonds, wasting as little material as possible while giving life to an old stone that's damaged or unusable for whatever reason. This one is .67ct (M/VS2) set in an 18k rose gold eight prong tulip mounting. This ring comes with a GIA diamond certificate.
