Ancient Roman Felicitas Coin Necklace

$600

Sold!

This silver denarius, minted under Emperor Trajan (98–117 AD), depicts Felicitas, the Roman goddess of good fortune, prosperity, and success. Trajan ruled during one of the greatest periods of Roman expansion and stability, and by placing Felicitas on his coinage, he sent a clear message—Rome was thriving, divinely favored, and destined for greatness under his leadership. In contrast to the goddess Fortuna, who could bring terrible luck as well as good, Felicitas was a gentle, positive deity. Let her be a talisman for you during the current decline of civilization.
