About Details Inspiration
Artemis, also known by her Roman name, Diana, was revered as a deity by the ancient Greeks. As the Hellenic goddess of the hunt, animals, wilderness, and protector of females, she was called upon to relieve women's diseases and aid in childbirth.  She was often depicted as a huntress carrying a golden bow and arrow.  Artemis was a feminist with a weapon of precious metal: hence, we've named our diamond-studded arrow ring for her.  In diamond-studded 14k yellow and white gold, with a profile that sits flat on your finger so you can wear it into battle without it getting in your way.

The ancient Greek Callimachus wrote a poem in which the three-year old Artemis sat on her father Zeus's lap and asked asked him to grant her six wishes: to remain always a virgin; to have many names to set her apart from her brother Apollo; to be the Light Bringer; to have a bow and arrow and a knee-length tunic so that she could hunt; to have a choir of 60 nine-year old girls sing to her, and for 20 Nymph handmaidens to watch her dogs and bow while she rested.
