My dad loves to buy me jewelry at local auctions near where he lives in Midcoast Maine. Here's one of his finds - it's "antique style" but I think it was made in the second half of the 20th century. With an oval amethyst, six little diamonds, and set in a cute asymmetrical mount, it's adorable. I don't have an acid tester so I'll guess it's 10k and price it like that. It very could well be 14k in which case you're getting a great deal (already it's kinda a great deal!)
This product is final sale.
Untested but likely 10k gold, amethyst, 6 small diamonds.
late 20th century
