Early 19th CenturyFrench GimmelWedding Band
This early 19th century interlocking wedding band is fashioned in 18k rose gold. The two hoops join together like an ultra simple puzzle ring. The seamlessly joining hoops are meant to symbolize the union of two lives and stems from the tradition of their more elaborate relative, the gimmel ring. The interior of the bands are engraved "L Nourtier J Horyn Le 4 Juin 1806." This wonderful and very rare ring is a size 6.5 and cannot be resized.
