Early 19th Century French Gold & Enamel “P” Wax Seal Necklace
An exceptionally lovely, diminutive wax seal modeled in gold with a stripe of green enamel and a “P” intaglio. This tiny intaglio would have been impressed it into hot sealing wax to form a seal on correspondence.
