This sweet Georgian locket is fashioned in 18k gold with a front glass panel painted in gold and black with the words “Simplicité Constance” — French for “Simplicity Constancy.” The locket holds a thin slice of mother of pearl painted with a pansy, the flower whose name comes from the French pensee meaning think of me.
