Buttery 22k gold and simple (elegant, rounded) on the outside, but a tome of hallmarks on the inside. One stamp tells us the band was made in London and another is Queen Victoria's head, which is the mark for 1852. If you don't use this as a wedding band, it could be a "guard ring" on top of a too-big ring to keep it safely in place.
