Edwardian Baby Bell Necklace
An Edwardian silver bell charm with "baby" rendered in applied letters atop a banderole. This piece with its functional clanger would be given to a baby and serve the same superstitious function as a rattle - to ward off evil spirits. We can also see it hanging from the collar of a well-loved cat or dog. British hallmarks.
