An Edwardian gold bracelet with the 18 enamel flags of the Commonwealth (at least as it existed in the very early 20th century). The reverse side of each flag is engraved with each country's name: Great Britain, England, Scotland, Ireland, India, Canada, Victoria, NS Wales, Queensland, S Australia, W Australia, N[ew] Zealand, C[ape] Colony, Natal, Transvaal (these three colonies combine to form the Union of South Africa in 1910), E Africa, Ceylon (Sri Lanka since 1972), and Honk Kong. The flags are strung together on weighty cable chain, the flag of Great Britain houses a concealed clasp and safety chain.
