Edwardian Moonstone Ring

Moonstones form in the heat of the earth as orthoclase and albite are mixed together. As they cool, they separate into layers. The light that reflects off of these layers creates the moonstone's distinctive schiller. This 14k gold ring, made in the Edwardian period, has an ultra minimal construction that calls all the attention to the dreamy bezel-set moonstone.
