The combination of opal and rich yellow gold was a popular favorite in the late Victorian era. So popular that it seems it found its way into the 20th century when this simple ring was made. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1911, this subtle ring is fashioned in burnished 18k yellow gold with a belled head set with a single opal cabochon.
