French Alpha & Omega Catherine Pendant

$2,300

Sold!

Alpha and Omega, the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, are used in Christianity to designate the comprehensiveness of God. It means the beginning and the end, the whole thing, the essence. There's so much going on in this Art Deco-era pendant. The name "CATHERINE" is spelled out as a decorative border, there are intertwined crescent moons, and I could go on. It probably was designed as a gift for a first communion.
