Georgian Carnelian Flower Wax Seal Necklace
A tiny work of art, this Georgian seal features a surreal Tim Burton-esque flower expertly carved in carnelian. Originally, this intaglio would have been housed in a fob and used to form a wax seal on letters. At some point it was removed from its casing and came to us unset. We've had it custom-fitted in gold to make it into a pendant.
