Georgian Carnelian Intaglio Thistle Seal Necklace

We suspect these flowers are thistles (look close at the spiky, spiral-y tips) but I have a Floriography expert in my DMs who says they might be sorghum. This crop was also known as "broom corn" and meant humility or neatness. The mound of soil underneath clues us into the fact that the plants are crops.
