A wonderful Georgian ring featuring an unusual even number of four foil-backed garnets with a fabulous interlacing silver hoop. The flat cut burgundy-hued stones each measure just 3mm in diameter. The garnets are mounted in closed settings, which means that you shouldn't ever allow the ring to get wet—moisture could get behind the stones and cause the metal to oxidize. Remember, this ring is over 200 years old and isn't intended for heavy-duty, everyday wear.
