This ring, dedicated in 1759, is a stunning example of 18th-century memorial jewelry. It features an urn decorated with black enamel and flat cut amethysts. The inscription around the hoop reads "Pris Fisker Ob 9 Feb 17 1759 Ae 75," commemorating the long life of a woman who must have seen a thing or two. The use of expensive materials reflects her family's wealthy status.
