Georgian Garnet & Diamond Crowned Heart Ring


A cleftless garnet heart is the color of blood: the symbolic connection between love, gemstone, and the human organ that sustains life. It wears a diamond crown and has triple-forked shoulders that continue into a textured hoop that shows loving wear but no resizing marks. C. 1800.
