An utterly remarkable, near immaculate Georgian pendant (formerly a brooch) featuring a depiction of lovebirds perched atop a birdbath beneath a crown and banner which reads "L'Amitié". The scene is rendered in macerated hair, gold wire and sepia ink on a thin slice of vellum. The reverse side holds an empty locket.
