Georgian Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring


This ring, made around 1820, has lived a whole life since it was made. It's been re-shanked and repaired, loved and worn, and aaaalllllll of that gives it character. Which it already had a lot of. Zoom to see the old mine cut diamonds, each sparkling with its own personality.

    18k gold (tests), silver, 4.4mm x 4.1mm central old mine cut diamond, 8 2mm old mine cut diamonds

    c. 1820

  • Condition

    Very good - this ring was definitely re-shanked at some point (stamped with 18ct) and it looks like there was a repair on the underside of the head to reinforce the settings of the topmost and bottommost diamonds

  • Size

    8, can be resized; 1.13cm head, 2.2mm shank
