The fancy cut rubies here seem to glow from within. They, along with the old mine cut diamonds, were dug from the earth and shaped sometime before 1820, when we estimate this ring to be made. The stones are set in silver with a rose gold hoop, which we expect to see from the end of the Regency period (White gold and platinum hadn't yet become a THING in jewelry.)
10k rose gold (tests), silver, 10 old mine cut diamonds of graduated sizes (very approximately 1ctw), 3 fancy cut rubies (slightly abraded facets edges)
Very good - slightly abraded facet edges on rubies, fine score mark on the underside of the head
8, can be resized; 1.35cm x 1.72cm head, 2.3mm shank
