GeorgianRound Gold and GlassLocket Etched “KAS”


This simple and lovely round Georgian locket is composed of 14k gold fittings convex glass lenses, one of which is etched with the monogram “KAS.” It's hard to say if these initials are original to the piece or if this embellishment was added at a later date. Hangs from a new 16" 14k gold chain.

    14k gold (tests), glass, new 14k gold chain.

    c. 1820

  • Condition

    Very good - surface wear commensurate with age and use.

  • Size

    1" length including the bale, 3/4" diameter, 16" chain.
