Georgian Sepia Urn Memorial Ring

An exceptional mourning ring from the late 18th century featuring an urn miniature rendered in sepia and tiny flecks of hair. The urn sits within a scalloped gold frame over a ground of plaited hair - all set beneath a convex rock crystal lens. The shank features the dedication "Ann Norman Ob 25 June 1774 Ae 54," it's black enamel is eroded in places but is still present.
