A remarkable Georgian mourning pendant with a minute sepia miniature of an urn haloed by delicate wreaths formed in rose cut diamonds and seed pearls - all atop a deep purple enamel ground. The whole exquisite scene is framed in pearls and surmounted by a bow. The reverse side holds a hair locket with the initials "ET".
10k gold (tests), purple enamel, seed pearls, rose cut diamonds, sepia miniature, glass, hair
Very good - some of the tiny pearls the interior wreath have become dislodged; surface wear to the glass lenses commensurate with age and use
