Originally, this intaglio would have been housed in a fob and used to form a wax seal on letters. At some point it was removed from its casing and came to us unset. We've had it custom-fitted in gold to make it into a pendant. Carved in agate, the intaglio features a heraldic knight’s arm holding a lance and the initial “TP”.
