Late Victorian Seed Pearl & Enamel “F” Heart Mourning Locket

Dating to the end of the 19th century, this gold puffy heart is an unusual mourning piece. The letter “F” rendered in seed pearls and enamel adorns the front, the back side holds a hair locket and is engraved, “In memory of K.F.B. 1896”.
