Unusually, the lettering of the inscription is in relief rather than raised. The idea with these “posy” or “poesy” rings is that the message inside was thought to be amplified when worn against your skin. Here, it almost seems as if the letters resemble movable type, ready to actually be imprinted upon your finger. It’s size 4.75, and cannot be resized.
