Mid 19th Century “Nous te félicitons” Book Locket


An outstandingly high quality and high karat gold locket fashioned in the shape of a book complete with ridged page edges and a detailed latch. The locket opens first to reveal the engraving "nous te félicitons" or "We congratulate you" or perhaps more simply, "Congratulations." The pages unfold for a second time to show four lockets with images of a father and three children. Near immaculate condition.
