Post Edwardian Banded Agate Panel Bracelet

$2,200

Sold!

Banded agate was used to make cameos for thousands of years. In the late 19th century, jewelers prized it for the beauty of its stripes and deep brownish-black hue. Here, in an early 20th century treatment of the stone, seven round banded agates are set within decorative gold frames with a concealed clasp and dual safety clips.
