Victorian Agate Inlay Ivy Leaf Locket

$1,350

Sold!

In the Victorian language of flowers, aka Floriography, ivy leaves symbolized closeness. They're often paired with the phrase "I cling to thee", since ivy holds tight to whatever surface it grows on. This multi-agate specimen locket is so uniquely abstracted and looks like it's much more contemporary than it is. Made around 1880.
