Victorian “Agincourt” Sardonyx Signet Ring

Lindsay and I love researching old family crests. The heraldry! The symbolism! The Game of Thrones imaginary intrigue! We suspect this ring bears the crest of the Wodehouse family. "Agincourt" is their motto; English longbows were made from yew wood and apparently were first used at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. Hence the yew tree. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1884.
