Victorian Amphora Earrings

The Victorians were obsessed with all things ancient Greek and Roman, so any classical motif brought them great joy and were incorporated into jewelry. Amphorae - a jar with two vertical handles used in antiquity for the storage and transportation of wine and olive oil - are the theme here.
