Victorian Banded Agate & Enamel Mourning Ring
On an oval of black agate, a solemn band of white underlines the emptiness and grief of a bereaved family member. Inside, the engraving is for "T. Leech Harrison Obt 1 April 1865 aet 79". Ribbons of black enamel encircle the stone and say "In Memory Of". An unusual design for a memorial piece.
