Jewelry inscribed with "mizpah" (an emotional bond between people who have been separated from one another) was very popular in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The Biblical word was used to express their connection to the departed as well as the living. This unique variation of the style features the word "Mizpah" blue enamel. Full British hallmarks on the interior and, interestingly, there's an additional date letter stamped on the exterior.
