Classic and unusual at the same time, this late Victorian ring features a cat's eye chrysoberyl cabochon. This chatoyant gem - "chatoyant" is a bastardization of the French term "oeil de chat" aka eye of the cat meaning that it has the optical effect of a streak within the stone that moves with the light - has a strong eye and a high "sugarloaf" dome.
