This twin snake ring dates to the late Victorian period. The serpents are rendered in a crossover with heads nested together and represent the everlasting love between two people. The crown of one head is set with a ruby (the gemstone that represents passion), the other sparkles with an old European cut diamond (the stone for fidelity).
