What mechanical genius developed this complex folding locket around the year 1870? Six panels fold out to create a six-pointed star when open. Heavy, ornately engraved, and BIG, it's 3 inches long when fully expanded. Ready for the addition of your family's pics.

    14k gold (tests), glass lenses and one acetate replacement lens

    c. 1870

  • Condition

    Very good - one locket is missing it's bezel and has an acetate lens rather than glass; a few small dings

  • Size

    1 1/2" length including the bale, 3" diameter fully expanded, 3/4" width, 1/4" depth
