Victorian Five Stone Turquoise Ring
Sold!

This covetable Victorian five stone ring is made in 18k gold and set with round turquoise cabochons. The word “turquoise” is derived from the French pierres torques meaning “Turkish stone”. The name originated in the early Middle Ages and lends credence to the belief that the gemstone was introduced to Europe by Turkish traders. The combination of turquoise and gold was quite the trend in the mid to late 1800s, the soft buttery sheen of high karat gold paired with the matte blue and greenish stones in this ring is absolutely stellar.
